AppleCare plans extend that hardware coverage and provide additional features like accidental damage protection and priority support.

How do I buy AppleCare? You can start an AppleCare+ plan when buying a new product with Apple in person. For 60 days, after a new Apple purchase, you can get a new plan through the settings app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, or by calling 000800 1009009. Or within 60 days, you can go to an Apple Store to purchase a plan.

Which products include AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss? AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for iPhone is available for purchase when you buy AppleCare on your device.

Does AppleCare cover accessories? When you protect your iPad with AppleCare+, you’ll get coverage for accidental damage for one Apple Pencil and one Apple‑branded iPad keyboard. AppleCare+ also covers any in-box cables and power adapters that came with your covered Apple product.

How can I get my device repaired? You can get your device repaired a few different ways. You can mail it in using a prepaid shipping label from Apple. Or you can bring it in to an Apple Store or any of the over 5,000 Apple Authorised Service Providers. Start a repair by visiting support.apple.com/en-in/repair, downloading the Apple Support app or calling your Apple Support phone number.

Apple Footer Local telephone fees may apply. Telephone numbers and hours of operation may vary and are subject to change. Coverage begins when your device ships or is picked up or on date of purchase if you have your device and coverage can be cancelled at any time. Service coverage is available only for covered devices and their original included accessories for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity and (iii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage. Accidental damage means physical damage from handling due to unexpected and unintentional events. If an iPad is covered in your plan, one compatible Apple Pencil and one compatible Apple-branded iPad keyboard used with your iPad are also covered. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements. There are no service fees for mechanical failures. Each incident of accidental damage protection is subject to a service fee plus applicable tax. If you have a plan with theft and loss coverage, each incident of theft or loss is subject to a service fee plus applicable tax. For complete details, see terms and conditions.

For iPad, your plan covers one Apple Pencil or Apple Pencil Pro and/or one Apple-branded iPad keyboard compatible with and used with a covered iPad for accidental damage and defects in material or workmanship under your plan.

For Apple Watch, the strap that is covered for accidental damage and defects in material or workmanship under your plan is the strap that came in the same box as the covered Apple Watch. Any replacement strap will be an Apple-branded strap in a style, material and colour that is subject to Apple’s discretion. Service coverage is provided under the terms and conditions of your AppleCare plan. Service coverage outside the country of purchase of your AppleCare plan is not guaranteed. The availability and type of repair or replacement may vary depending on your device model, applicable local laws and the capabilities of Apple Authorised Service Providers in the location where service is requested. Some service options may not be available in all regions. If service is available and repair is possible, Apple may, at its discretion, offer to repair or replace your device using locally sourced models or parts that meet local standards and regulations, which may differ from the original device in terms of colour and/or specifications. Availability of international replacement for lost or stolen devices is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, and may vary by region, model and device configuration. For details, please review the terms and conditions. Theft and loss claims are for iPhone. Each claim is subject to a service fee. While the plan is active and in effect, claim limits reset every 12 months: two claims under AppleCare+.

Theft and loss coverage requires you to have Find My enabled on your device at the time it is lost or stolen. Find My should remain enabled and your device should remain associated with your Apple Account throughout the theft or loss claims process. During the theft or loss claims process, you will be asked to erase your missing device, disable it and transfer ownership before you can be issued a new device. After initiating your theft or loss claim with Apple, you will be asked to finalise your claim on AIG’s website at https://aigtheftandloss.in.

International replacement of lost or stolen devices is subject to availability and options may vary by region, device and model. Same-day replacement is not available for theft and loss claims. Ceramic Shield back is referred to as ‘Back glass’ and Ceramic Shield display is referred to as ‘Screen’ in the AppleCare+ terms and conditions. AppleCare+ Plans are separate from and in addition to the Apple Limited Warranty and any legal rights provided by consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
